Write for The Proof.
The kind of content we look for
Our audience is mostly ecommerce business owners and marketers. They love actionable ideas they can put to use right away, so we publish articles with insight into starting, running and scaling an ecommerce business successfully.
Basic requirements
Successful guest contributions are comprehensive, data-driven and actionable: they teach our readers something new about ecommerce and motivate them to act.
- 100% original and well researched, ideally 1,500 to 2,500 words, with supporting data, links, examples and screenshots where they help.
- An introduction that makes readers want to keep going, and a clear call to action at the end.
- Formatted for readability and SEO: short paragraphs, descriptive subheadings, lists where they help.
- No copyrighted material; credit sources properly.
- About ecommerce marketing, sales, growth, tools or technology, for people who run an online store.
Policy for outbound links
Link to sources where you need to. One or two links is usually right; longer pieces can have more. No multiple links to the same domain. You can include one link to your own website in your short author bio, which we publish with the post.
Pitch us your post.
Send a working title and a short pitch. If you’ve already written it, share the Google Doc link (with comment access). Our content team replies by email if it’s a fit.
